After seeing the first post I went ahead and submitted — got my coupon about 10 seconds later.

Trying some other email addresses/names (like my wife’s) resulted in the error message above — I wouldn’t be surprised if they record the submitting IP address and only allow one from any given IP. So if you’re behind a firewall/NAT and anyone else in your company submits before you, you’re hosed.

And yes, I made sure that I cleared out the two cookies before submitting another email.

My wife just submitted her email from home and got a coupon, no problems (same info I’d given above). So I’m pretty sure my guess is correct.

I got my coupon on Monday after seeing it on SlickDeals.net. I wonder if they got overloaded or something. That site is almost as bad as Slashdot!

Lowes may be restricting coupons by IP address in attempts to avoid coupon abuse. Or, they could be using a different method with the same fishy results.

I tried 2 different email addresses, and both said that a coupon had already been issued for that address. Did anyone really get a coupon?
