Thing is, I have 3 Home Depot’s, a Lowe’s, and two Sears closer than the nearest True Value… and if you consider “easier to get to” then add another 3 HD’s, a Lowe’s, and another Sears store.
No, I won’t get a damn bit of useful advice from any of them… but, then again, I didn’t last time I went to a True Value either. There’s a few small local tool stores I could ask, except their hours suck.
