Yeah I've used these, they're great for removing gasket material.

Most automotive supply places also carry boxes of the discs in 25 counts. We go through these like water in the shop.

Grainger has these kits as well as replacement discs. Enven though Grainger is B2B, there is always a way you can purchase through them. Chances are, the company you work for has and account that you can use.

In some parts of the country, you can now order Grainger items through Lowes.

Try Qwest auto parts, they had a lot of Roloc discs including the bristle discs last time I was in there. If you don't live near a Qwest then you can try Lowes, although its a nock-off brand, they sell 2" discs that will work with the system.

I have one of these kits, have used it a lot for buffing metal, and really like it. However, the mandrel is cheap plastic and tends to crack, and you can use these in reverse (as is sometime necessary) because they thread in. That said, they're cheap to replace if it breaks. I just wish more stores stocked the discs (most just stock the kit).

I am moving into a house with garage that I plan to turn into a woodworking shop where I can produce a very fancy, artistic 'stick horse" for children from 3 to 73, for play or for home decor or a smaller version for stable doors to post the occupants name. I don't really need the pneumatic tools directly for this project, but indirectly, I need them very badly.

I am a 66 year old female who loves to work with wood. I was hit with a spinal cord injury about 3 1/2 yrs. ago that put me in a wheel chair. I still get around pretty good, but I'm going to need to build a ramp out of the house, saw horses, a work table, free standing shelves, since the garage is a masonary building, etc. As you can see, I certainly could put a nailer to use, big time!
M.B.

P.M. I really like the look of 3M's Roloc Surface Finishing Kit also. Now that could work fine on my horses. These are going to be the most realistic and pretty "stick horses" you can imagine.

i lived in seattle in the late 90's, and it was one of my favorite places to get really odd tooling parts.
