Beware this is not as strong as a corded model. You really can't lean on it that hard, it has overload protection circuitry that trips out if you do. Run time is about 10-15 mins depending on how enthusiastically you use it. That said, it works great for those quick grinding jobs, and appears to be quite durable. Battery does not last as long as Dewalts 36 v tool (that spins about half as fast)but Makita is much lighter and seems to me to be much better built.Makita puts Dewalts 18v "cut off" tool to shame. Still waiting on Milwaukees V28 version. I think I may prefer a paddle switch for cordless grinders. May save a little of the batteries charge. Something is stuck and needs to come off. Something is too big to go where it needs to go. Something is blocking something that I need access to. Like a reciprocating saw, it's very comforting to be able to pick up an angle grinder, know it's going to work predictably, and fix the problem NOW. If this is built anything like my corded makita angle grinder, combined with the oompf of my 18v lith-ion makita impact driver, I want one. My grinder has been through the wars over the last (where did the time go?) 8 years and is still running great.
