The sign at a local Home Depot on the panel saw said: "Out of Order".  An employee came up and used it explaining the sign is just there to keep customers they don't like from asking to have material cut.  They would cut material for those customers they liked and asked for help.</description>

Anyway, the Sears Holding Company developments are certainly interesting.  This type of split certainly is not in anyway surprising if you look at their financials and the way that a "holding company" should be run in the first place.</description>

		<description>wrt Sears splitting - they guy who bought K-Mart (rather shady deals there), has also bought Sears.  He has plans in mind to do something, but his cards are close to his vest.  But he has already split off a bunch of Sears properties (real estate, credit cards), so who knows what he will do to that brand.</description>
