Lista is expensive? Have you priced Snap-On, Matco or MAC? Those are all great brands but Lista is better made and less expensive.

Ahh Vidmar... Where I used to work they had two 5 foot tall vidmar cabinets chocked full of hardware and electronic components. I used to spend a lot of time digging through them.

I don't even want to guess what they cost.

Many VW and Audi dealers use the Stanley Tools "Vidmar" storage cabinets, pretty much the same thing:

I like them a lot, deep drawers that open and close smooth, even the ones that are loaded down with heavy stuff. I don't have a clue as to how much they cost though.

I know you can't think of Lista without thinking $$$$, but their red bins are competitively priced and far superior to anything else available. They have minimal draft, they nest very nicely, and if you get the bins that take the label holders (everything but the pb24, I think), you can pull a bin full of screws out of the drawer by pulling on the label holder. Somewhat unfortunately, I have fould the pb24 bins to be most useful for my home shop. I have been meaning to post a picture for a while, maybe I will get around to it now. I think this is where I have been buying the bins.

On a related note, I have been building my Lista equivalent cabinets out of wood. Do you know why Lista cabinets are so expensive? They are worth it!
