My local Lowes had a Kobalt version of this collecting dust for about a year now. The price has been dropping gradually, but even at $30, I just couldn't justify buying one.

For the price, most people would be much better off with a mobile work surface such as a Black & Decker Workmate.

The Amazon site has more pictures and you can see their is a port in the back that you could plug a vacuum hose into. It also looks like you can break the workcenter in two if you want to use just the work surface. I hope someone has some reviews on this item since it looks very interesting to me.
