Thanks for the kind words! Since they goofed up the caption on my 15 minutes of fame (just my luck), here's my description from the flickr posting:

My friend Dave, who helped me build this built-in entertainment center, poses. Yes, those are real drawers! Most of them store sheet music, but the bottom two rows are actually single drawers with false fronts, sized to store DVDs.

It's built into an alcove under our stairwell (hence the angled part above the built-in). Since it completely fills the space, we cut a small door through the back of a closet into the space behind the built-in, to make it easy to wire things up.

Sorry about the flash flare - I'm a woodworker, not a photographer!

I really like the look of many small drawers. It's something that was common decades ago but has fallen out of fashion today. Nice the way they were incorporated into a modern piece of furniture.

Heh, I wish my "rough" shop shelves looked as nice as these. But then they wouldn't be shop shelves.

This is a sweet-looking entertainment center. Looks like you just need to fix the cut/paste error. :)

Oops. Looks like you left in the description from the previous winner. I was wondering how you could possibly describe this drool-worthy built-in as rough and hasty.
