I have the Wilson Cop Tool that I purchased over a year ago. I agree that it is expensive, but less expensive than the Atwoods I have. Notwithstanding the price, it is one of the most useful go-to tools that I use inside and out. It's tough, and it's "scary sharp." I guarantee that it's the best and last knife that I will ever need. I rewapped mine, and I had DragonLeather.net make me quick draw from the pocket case for it. If you invest in fine, hardworking tools, this thing will hack cut, saw, chisel, and cut with precision, and you won't break it and it will stay sharp. I have lots of shop knives, but this is the only one I need.

I love the Atwood tools. I have a Prybaby from way back when he was only making Prybabies and Mini-Prybabies and they were always sold out then. Pete's a seriously nice guy too. I met him at the Blade show when I got my Prybaby. I didn't even know he had expanded the line so much, I'm definitely eyeing that Crawdaddy when he makes some more!

one difference i just noticed is that the County Comm tool is considerably larger than the cop tool. If you've got that bad boy on your belt people are certainly going to notice.

Good one Peepers, i think i might be getting one of those instead.

like Kurt and Jonathan said, 100 bucks is waaaay to much for something like this, i was tempted though because it's my kind of knife...or knife like object.

Countycomm.com sells a similar tool for a lot less cash. You'd have to customize it a bit, but it's only $12.

I'd say $80 took much.

Wilson's tools are wicked sexy. But if EVER there was an application that cried out for stainless mass production instead of handmade, parkerized finished tool steel, it's this.

I hate to say this, because I think the tool is cool looking, but $100 is about $60 too much for that.
