One Thread Repair Tool To Rule Them All
By Eric Dykstra
Wrecking a bolt stinks, especially if you don’t have a spare handy. But who carries a whole set of dies with them? That’s when having a ThreadMate in your toolbox could be a life saver. As you rotate it around the damaged bolt, the undamaged threads guide the cutting blade to repair the rest.
This mechanical thread restorer will work on any bolt with any thread pitch from 5/32′ to 1/2″ (4mm to 13mm). Switching between right and left handed threads is as simple as changing the order of the blades. You can also remove rust, scale, and paint with the ThreadMate, breathing new life into old hardware.
ThreadMate is manufactured by Shilo Technologies, who’s just in the beginning stages of marketing in the US, so the ThreadMade can be difficult to locate. Right now, Garett Wade has it — as well as a version for internal thread repair — in stock for about $40. For other options, give Google a try.

Griots Garage has had this item in their catalog for a while now at $24.99. See it at:
http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_2000&L2=L2_2050&SKU=92201
I have wanted one but hadn’t ordered one yet. Should probably get one before I need it.

I saw a similar item at Lee Valley, $24.50:
http://www.leevalley.com/hardware/page.aspx?c=2&p=53251&cat=3,41306
I have a tough time justifying roughly $25 to fix bolts that may cost, at most, few dollars new. I guess if you constantly destroy bolts, it may become cost effective.

Whats it got over a thread chaser file?

I worked with an experienced mechanic who had one of these that was passed on to him from his father, so this is not a new idea. It’s great when working on machinery from obscure countries that use bolt sizes that seem to be neither standard or metric, or when you need to have something up an running in 10 minutes and don’t have time to run to the hardware store for a new bolt.
The thing it has on a thread chaser file is that it is only one tool for all those bolt sizes, instead of several…

Re:The thing it has on a thread chaser file is that it is only one tool for all those bolt sizes, instead of several…
———————————————————————————————————–
Yeah, but does it match all the different thread profiles as chasers can be purchased for? or does it just have a one size fits all cutter? I just want to remove the deformities, not reprofile the thread.
Different thread standards have different pitches and angles
I don’t always deal with UNF( which even has differing profiles of fine through coarse i.e. UNC, UNF,UNEF,and UNS), but have to deal with on occasion, BSW,BA and UTS.
Not saying I’ll not try one out, gadget freak that I am. Just that I’ve found that the K.I.S.S. principal is usually best, It may be handy, but a one size fits all is seldom the best tool for the job.
I usually carry just 2 multies, KD tools 2228 for metric and 2229 for SAE
Also not limited as to size of bolt. and they are only about $10 a piece.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
My name is Sanches , this is my first
post. I didn’t find relevant
thread to post this, and I am sorry, if I posted in the wrong place,
moderators, please move this post accordingly.
Early last year, I stumbled upon information about
investment funds, that do not trade publicly. The profit percent, which participants could
receive by joining in such private clubs, seemed
incredibly high at
first, but as I studied more reviews about them, I started to
invest. These days, I consider
myself to be the successful
investor. To take my online adventures on the next level, I
established the blog, which
is always updated with detailed information
about investment
programs. To see my current picks, here is the link.
I would would be glad to receive
user’s feedbacks.

Greetings,
My name is Nicolas and this is my first
post. I wasn’t sure where to make this post, and my apologies, if I posted in the wrong place,
please advise the right
thread.
About this time last year, I stumbled upon information about
investment programs, that are not readily available to the public. The rates of investment return, which people could
receive by investing in such private clubs, looked
extremely high at
first, but as I studied additional
information about them, I joined some too. As
of today, I consider
myself as no less, but the successful
investor. To
share my findings, I
established the blog, which
is always updated with detailed information
about selected programs. If you would like to see my current picks, click here.
I would deeply appreciate
your comments.

I received a card statement yesterday, and discovered that there was an unauthorized charge from the InfoSys Technologies LLC in the amount of $11.98
I wanted to resolve the problem and called their customer support number 517-639-0760, but I reached their answering machine.
From the message I found out that the best way to contact them would be through e-mail support@infosystemplates.net
I wrote a letter about my problem to the noted e-mal address, and within 30 minutes I received a reply that the situation will be reviewed, and in about 5-6
hours, I will receive a notice to my e-mail, and then, during 72 hours will be a refund.
Today I have received a refund and want to take back all the claims for InfoSys Technologies LLC.
The mistake was corrected very quickly, and they have shown themselves as a serious company.
Besides, I got a free version of their product as compensation.
Good work, keep it up!

Lindsay Price is seen here in between takes on the set of Lipstick Jungle on location in New York City. Lindsay plays the role of an up and coming, albeit struggling, fashion designer in New York City, and she always seems to have style and wardrobe that is iconic to the struggling designer quirky yet trendy. She is playing up this quirkiness with a look that is very reminiscent of Carrie Bradshaw s flower year in Sex and the City and Lindsay has had her hair styles in a mess of curls and festooned with a bright flower. The curls in this look are achieved with small sized rollers, and then finished with a very narrow curling iron. You will want to ensure that you have a healthy amount of mousse or curling serum in your hair before you attempt this look. Keep your rollers in for at least 30 minutes, and remember to use your smallest sizes if you want curls as tight as Lindsay. When you take your rollers out, create a side part, and finger comb out your curls. Clip a barette or pretty flower to the side f
or a fun and flirty summer look. If you need to neaten up your curls at all, do so with the narrow curling iron to freshen up your bouncy curls.
Welcome to the Hairstyles Top. Here you will find the latest top hair style pictures, and advice for new hairstyles: formal hairstyles, black hairstyles, short hairstyles and men’s hairstyles, etc. Lots of celebrity haircuts.

Hey!
I just checked out The Rasmus new Fan Page on Facebook where you can play the latest tunes from the BLACK ROSES album…
The fifth song “Your Forgiveness” is so much better than the “Livin’ In A World Without You” single… don’t you agree?
I know everyone has different tastes and all, but seriously,
the fifth song definitely sounds better than the first!

Go-Jamaica hosts marketing seminar on power of the Internet
Put the power of the Internet to work in your business” was the slogan used in The Gleaner Online’s third annual Internet marketing seminar, held at the newspaper’s North Street central Kingston offices yesterday.
Dr Felix Akinladejo, lecturer of Internet marketing at the University of Technology (UTech), as well as managers, students, entrepreneurs, representatives from advertising agencies and marketing consultants, were in attendance.
“Internet marketing is the field of marketing or advertising a business on the World Wide Web. Because the Internet is so dynamic and is always changing, it is important that you keep up to date with the developments and designs that will enhance your web presence,” said Hope McMillan, project manager of The Gleaner Online and seminar presenter.
Participants for the over-subscribed seminar discussed an array of Internet marketing issues around how to expand your online reach and how the Internet can work for your business.
Marketing solution
The Gleaner Online team took the time to walk participants through various types of Internet marketing solutions, in particular, ad formats and properly utilising websites.
Based on a survey conducted after the seminar, the attendees expressed satisfaction with the venue, the information given, the length and way the information was presented and the level of interaction between the presenter and the audience.
“I’m sorry I came so late. The information was good and it cleared up many areas of concern,” said one individual.
The Gleaner Online’s Internet Marketing Seminar 2008, was considered by all a huge success.
Because of the large number of registrants, some could not be accommodated. However, another seminar of this nature will be held soon.

All of us at communicating on the Internet use smilies. Sometimes it is the most usual brackets, and sometimes big animated smiley, in accuracy reproducing our emotions.
But it happens that the necessary smilie is not present.
Certainly, it is possible to get out any another, but that that is to be shown - to show has failed.
And so, that such problems would not be I offer you the huge catalogue of smilies broken on categories and convenient in use.

Sometimes people ask me if I have a link to download a movie. My answer is always NO. i’ve never downloaded any movie in my entire life. Anything related to movies that I have experience downloading are only the trailers and the soundtracks. Movie file? Never.
But yesterday I accidentally saw a page about movie download. The good news is, it is for free. At least that is what it said. The other thing that stand out from the page is their claim that they have a High Definition movies download. On the front page they have movie download for The Dark Knight, Wanted, and Hancock. All this year’s summer blockbuster movies. Quite interesting huh
I’ve tried to click the link they provided to download the movie. I chose The Dark Knight. After I installed the downloading software I believe I will not have enough stable internet connection to download some movies from there. So I think I just leave it up to you to try
Here is the address of that website.
http://www.flixhut.com
Give me some good news if you succesfully download some movies from there. I might try it next time
