We’re Going Hunting
By Sean O'Hara
It’s getting to be that time of year again: Summer is ending and the change of seasonal items at the big box stores is going to happen any time now. Just today I stood under the ceiling fans at the local big box and saw little yellow tags that were marked with that glorious word, the one that will bring about the coming of the next seasonal spending orgy: “clearance.”
Break out the secret reserve of emergency cash and start watching for the neon poster-board and marker-written tags that will line the aisles, because summer price tags are about to drop like Enron stock. The time of the bargain shopper is about to begin.

As of 8-23-07, many of the Lowes across the country are discounting the Biesmeyer 30″ Commercial Tablesaw fence from $400.00 to $80.00.
Sounds like this would qualify for your clearance list.

They seem to be spotty, but at Lowes all over the US. They will no longer be stocking the fence, and have begun to discount. My local store is firm at $200, but many others have gotten fr $80, and some even as low as $50 when talking to the Manager. Start shopping!! I just bought a Delta Unifence whn Lowes clearanced them, and love it.
