Like someone said on slickdeals in regard to a $10 set at Radio Shack: "it's better to have cheap tools than no tools".

Not a bad deal, but that's about what they're worth. I've got nothing against Chinese tools, unless they're disguised under a well known American name.

Ok, I was going to bash this set for having 12pt sockets instead of 6pt, and then refer you guys to a decent 95 piece Craftsman set which is typically "on sale" for $50 or $60. http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?pid=00934095000

Before I did all that, I wanted to confirm that the Stanley set was in fact composed of 12pt sockets as the photo shows. Scrolling down I didn't find too much info, but I did find this:

"Do you want to receive an extra 20% discount on this item when Amazon.com is the seller? Enter code SAVEXTRA at checkout."

Sooo the price on this set is $32 and not $40. That's a more than reasonable price for a starter set or as part of a car kit.
