		<description>I have looked at the "small shop" problem for some time. Unfortunately I have not yet done anything about it. 

For you, this might be a good time to visit the library and get the following:

There is also a Fine Woodworking issue from 2002 called "Tools and Shops." They have an "expose'" on a "garage shop" in that issue. It had a nice blowup of the layout.
