Case isn't in the business of creating collectibles, and it's not the manufacturers place to dictate collectibility, or to manipulate aftermarket pricing. I'm not currently a Case customer, but have been drooling over a couple pieces by them. If they end up going through with this, then they've just eliminated me as a customer. But I don't collect Hummels, I use TOOLS. Someone will make me a good one and sell it to me when I need it. I've got an old Stanley block plane that was my great uncles that is probably worth some ridiculous amount of money. I don't know, cause I still sharpen it and USE it as my great uncle did more than 80 years ago. If Case wants to sell collectibles good for them. But I don’t collect Hummels, I use TOOLS.
