She hit a high tension wire with the side of the car putting a big dent in the door. It made it so the door wouldn't open properly. The solution was for a friend of mine and I to kick the door dent in even further until 'wrinkle' near the hinge wouldn't interfere with the door opening. We drove that car with the kicked in door for many years. Worked great. :) Before my wife and I were married, she hydroplaned and her car went into a ditch.
