Dealmonger: Highway Emergency Toolkit for $20

Northern Tool always has a selection of stuff on sale, and this set of Motor Trend branded tools caught my eye.  For twenty bucks plus shipping, you get a power pack, an inverter, and a compressor – each of which would normally fetch that price alone – plus a spotlight and rescue hammer.  The quality’s probably not stellar, but if it works once, it was worth the price!  Shipping is around $15 for this nineteen-pound pile of toys.

My experience with this set is not good. The big spotlight doesn’t hold a charge and the compressor is only good for sporting goods. I have not used the power pack, but I am not sure it would work if I needed it …
