Another deal from Sears: a Craftsman 83-piece insert bit set (#26535) for $15. The 82 bits include both 1″ and 2″ Philips, slotted, square, Pozi, Torx, and nut drivers. Believe us when we tell you that you can never have too many sets like this. The offer expires May 5th.

That looks very tempting. I had a smaller kit like this that many of the bits have disappeared. I like that you can just pack it up and go, and have virtually every bit you could possible need.

Here is something similar. Though it is about 1/2 the number of pieces, the price is 1/3. I have one and the quality is fine for casual use (as I would expect with the Sears kit too).

Nah…just gimme the jumbo-bulk pack of #2 Phillips.
And a handful of #6 and #8 square heads.

A very nice set. Bought one last night after seeing it here. I’ve no doubt it’ll last me, (and whoever gets them when I check out), as long as I need them. Be advised of two things however. They’re not made in USA and the package doesn’t have the “Guaranteed Forever” tag. Does it matter? Guess that depends on you.
