James:

From the giveaway page -- click the banner for the full text:

By “valid comments” we mean comments that’re a) not spam, b) from users who provided their email address with their comment (don’t worry, it’s not displayed publicly), and c) don’t say something inane like “i want to win the prize oh yeah Bender’s great.” This means that posting dozens of “I agree” or “that’s great” comments won’t improve your chances of winning a whit. On the other hand, posting your opinions and other information useful to other readers will increase your chances.

l_bilyk: We're actually selecting the winner in June. Freddie's just giving you trouble. It's just like on the jobsite -- if other readers don't give you a hard time 'round here, they don't like you. :)

I got the 24XLi kit for Christmas and just cracked it open (it’s too cold up here in the great white north to do anything in the winter!). Awesome workmanship on these tools. The drills a bit heavy though for screws in tight areas. Maybe I’ll have to get the impact driver, but does anyone know if I can get one that takes the 24V LiIon batteries instead of the 14.4V NiCads?

Having the tools in my hands makes me want to build something! I know this sounds subjective, but having the orange gives me more pride of ownership than the yellow, red or teal!! I think Ridgid is for those who research and are more refined tool owners than the rest. Go Ridgid!

PS: Sorry for the double post - I put this in the wrong thread.
