I bought the drill doctor, after my $100 set of drill bits got dull, just like all the cheap bits I bought before. I sat down & sharpened every bit I own one (300+ ) in under 2 hours. Now I have sharp bits every time I need to do any drilling. I'm not sure if the back cut feature actually works, but having a sharp bit every time you use it is sure works good for me. I marked the tip of each bit I have with a 'Sharpie' magic marker, & now every time the marker gets worn off I sharpen it again. Sharp bits are great.

These things are great! Been using a "classic model" for about 2 years now and it's more than paid for itself in replacing drill bits, especially in the middle of the night when no one is open. My only complaint is the instructional video came in VHS only. C'mon...seriously? At least they've got it streaming online now.
