Win A Set Of RIDGID Pneumatics
By Chuck Cage
RIDGID was kind enough to offer up a set of pneumatic tools for giveaway to one of our loyal readers. Here’s how it works: sometime in June we’ll select a comment from all the valid comments posted here on Toolmonger since today. The author of that comment receives the tools! So, when you post a comment here, you’re not only sharing your experience with other Toolmongers around the world, you’re also adding a chance to win. Win what, you ask? You’d receive:
- Your choice of a round head or clipped head framing nailer
- A roofing nailer
- Your choice of a straight or angled finish nailer
- A brad nailer
- And a finish stapler
We’ve got a couple of hands-on posts scheduled in the next month to give you a bit more information about the line, but if you can’t wait that long, you can check ‘em out at any Home Depot.

Very nice!!! I have been considering a nailer for some projects I’m planning for this summer.

Cool, I have the Ridgid angle finish nailer and it is pretty darn good.

I’m finding myself owning more and more Ridgid power tools - just had to pick up a new compressor, and went with the Ridgid twin-tank, 1.8HP unit. Very nice, a little heavier than my old one, but also quieter, and tons more SCFM!!
Wouldn’t mind adding a nice framer to my collection of nailers, I have everything else (including a pinner)

Sweet… how does the lifetime warranty work on these? free rebuild kits? or no?

I’m with PJ… I find that I’m really starting to dig the Ridgid stuff….

I use my RIDGID 16ga finish nailer frequently. It never jams and it feeds just about any brand of nails flawlessly.
I certainly will be adding to my nail guns in the future.

My friend recently got the Ridgid combo pack that had the straight finish nailer, crown stapler and brad nailer complete with a shaft screwdriver on clearance at Home Depot for some obscenely low price. The thing I liked about the Ridgids that immediately stood out were the rotating hose connects on them that help prevent cord tangles.

You can buy those hose connects and put them on any brand tool though
