Dealmonger: Black & Decker Factory Outlet Spring Specials

This is for Toolmongers in the Boston/Rhode Island area, though it could apply to other areas. (I can only really confirm this one.) The Wrentham Village Outlet in Massachusetts has a Black & Decker factory outlet store – which, by the way, is a great distraction from the trauma of a day of outlet shopping – and they’re running a “spring lawn & garden special” until May 22nd.
Some of the deals they’re advertising include:
- a 14.4 volt hedge trimmer for $24.97
- a leaf blower / vacuum for $19.97
- a 14″ grass trimmer for $24.97
- a “Lawn Hog” edger for $49.97
All of these tools are “factory reconditioned,” which means they carry the same warranties as their new counterparts.

Well, I don’t know any other RI toolmongers, but I appreciate the heads up. Although the wife is vehemently stating, as she reads over my shoulder, that we don’t need any more power tools.

I don’t know if the same specials apply, but the Kittery Outlets in Kittery Maine has a B&D store that is always one of my favorite haunts.
