I wish someone would come out with an actual pair of Women's gloves -- recut for women's hands, not just smaller sized Men's gloves. I take a medium or large in Men's gloves, but they never fit quite right. Like most women, my fingers are longer and my palm is smaller, proportionately, than a man with the same length hand. More importantly, my index finger is at least 3/8" longer than my ring finger, the opposite of most men's hands. Going up to a Men's Large gets me finger length, but my palm swims, and I have a huge amount of fabric void dangling at the end of my ring finger while my index finger is painfully shoved into the seaming. The only gloves that really fit well are the ones I snip the fingertips off of, but they won't let you wear those fighting fires for some reason...

I hate to admit it, but sometimes I buy women's work gloves because they fit my smaller hands better. I really hate when stores like Menards, decide to only carry size medium and above in mens. 'Fit's like a glove' is a saying for a reason. Gloves that are too big are uncomfortable and even a safety hazard.
