My friend Bob has one of these. He's a former Marine armourer and swears by it and from the results I've seen I have to agree.

He sharpened my dull Benchmade in very few strokes, giving it a nice new razor edge. I'm sure it takes a little bit of practice, but it's a lot more versatile than fixed ceramic rods (like those little Fiskars keyrign sharpeners) or a rotating disc kind.

I'd like to see one of these in person. I've seen several products like this but I've never been impressed with the quality.

This is a great sharpener. Normally I prefer flat stones but when your serrated knives need a touchup, this is just the ticket. Plus this takes the guesswork out of what angle you're sharpening at and the ceramic sticks work really well.
