Bosch’s 4410L Miter Saw: One-Stop Shop

While none of this Bosch miter saw’s features are new or revolutionary, one stands out: it’s got every cool feature we’ve seen in the last year. Lasers, full adjustment, extensions – it’s got ‘em all. It also doesn’t hurt that if the Terminator was Googling his family tree, the 4410L might be his great grandmother. Yeah, it’s that cool.
The 4410L’s heart is a 15 amp motor that spins up to a 4,800 RPM no-load speed and sits atop a 21″ aluminum base with cast sliding extensions that provide extended grip areas and extra support for long materials.
It also has more adjustment controls than Vegas has slot machines. You can adjust almost every facet of its aligment — too many to conveniently list here. Bosch also put in a great deal of effort into making the 4410L’s measurement systems and guides easy to read.
The only bad news? Complete control comes at a cost: street pricing starts at $470.

After month’s of research, this is the saw I bought for my home shop. We have a 12″ Makita at work, but I wouldn’t trade it for my the Bosch 4410L. Mine was amazingly accurate straight out of the box and cuts crisply every time. Once you get used to the controls, it is fast and easy to adjust. This is the biggest purchase yet for my home-shop, and I’m counting on it lasting a lifetime.
I had to debate between getting this saw or the Bosch 4000 table saw. Not nearly enough money for both. I think I made the right choice going for the table saw (more versatile) but that doesn’t stop me salivating over this saw.
One day…
I have the bigger brother, the 5412. Awesome saw… I love it. Set up perfect out of the box and it stays that way.
what diameter has the Bosh 4410L blade? is it 12 inch(30 cm) or less….?
