If you liked Skil’s 10.8V drill but couldn’t justify $75 for it, you might want to keep an eye on the sales table at your local Lowe’s. We saw five of ‘em on the sale table marked down to $30.

That is a good deal. I have seen a few really good steals at the discount table (usually in front of the power tool section) at one of my local Lowes–but not another one. I guess it depends on the store, but one is consistently good and the other tends to have little to no selection at the discount table.
My score last month was a 3/8″ DeWalt corded drill for like $38 or so. Too bad they don’t have a means of letting me know online what is on the table and how much it is going for.

Lowes probably knows something that we don’t. Like the new models are going to make these virtually worthless, or they’re at the end of their shelf life, or something.
nrChris you’d be dangerious in the Black & Decker Factory Outlet down the road from me

This wouldn’t be a bad drill to keep in the house. That way I don’t have to go all the way out to the garage.

Paul,
I actually don’t care for the B&D stuff too much. I have a detail sander and a flex driver, and that is it. Although the mere thought of a tool outlet, brand name aside….okay you are right. Dangerous.
