Hah! I'm jealous nrChris! You get to go to your workshop whenever you like. I only get to my workshop like every other week right now. I've moved all of my tools to my new place, but have not quite moved there myself yet. But when I am there I spend as much time as I can in my new workshop.

So inbetween times I sort of have to do my tooling vicariously over the Internet. :( The last time I was in my workshop I put some new drawers under my rolling bench. And while planing some wood, I noticed that my present workbench was racking an awful lot. I think I need to make a new workbench myself. Or, at least tighten up my present one, for the time being.

30 hours is like a fulltime job you got in your workshop nrChris. It sounds like you are getting a lot done in it, to me. Keep up the good work man!

While I am still at my old place I have to shape it up here somewhat to get it ready to go on the market soon. Right now that means giving the downstairs bathroom the once over on the cheap, with next to no tools. It is amazing what I can get done with nothing much more than a paintbrush, a hammer, and a chisel. Being as that is about all that I have left to work with here now.

I'm pared down to the bare essentials. It sucks having no tools.

It has been tough keeping up this week--I am diligently been trying to keep up--it started because I want to win the Ridgid setup--but I have become genuinely interested in reading the blog in-depth instead of in passing.

The tough part has been because I have spent close to 30 hours in my shop this week: tail mounted vice is installed on my bench, small staircase rebuilt, oak shelf / counter top built into indoor pass-through window. And that is just since Friday. Ah the joys of a new home.

Anyway, stay busy and keep sharing the good info.
