My only concern is the casters. They look small enough to get stuck in expansion gaps in my cement floor. If the wheels are plastic, they may pick up all manner of small sharp debris on the floor and stop the wheels from rotating.

I have put heavy duty polyurethane casters on most of my shop equipment, using scrap steel for a frame, and a mig welder, for less than $30 per set.

The factory wheels on my welders were so crappy, I replaced them with large pneumatic tires ($50 total cost) so I could roll them anywhere, including outdoors through soft sand. These tools get moved around a lot, to projects that are too big to bring to the welders.

Was going to buy only stand that fix my table from Grizzly's close-out, it was listed for $62.95 add to cart, then purchase parts! looked like an oversight, but I'd be pissed if all I got was a frame

This is really nice. If I get to Grizzly this weekend, I may pick some up. I just got a band saw for Christmas, that I need to make mobile.

I would be interested in seeing a review of moble bases from you guys. Keep up the good work.

I have mobile bases or wheels on almost all of my stationary tools. With the cost of steel rising, it's almost a no-brainer to buy a pre-made base. I did end up making the base for my workbench and just integrated casters on my grinder stand since I had certain features I wanted to incorporate that weren't available otherwise.

I tried to make my own mobile bases from 2x4s and heavy casters. They did not work well. I purchased two of these from ShopFox and have been much more mobile since then. They work really well. Sometimes you are better off buying things ...
