This is incorrect. If you read the specs on the linked tempgun page you will see that this range is for the ambient operating temperature of the unit.  The actual range of temperatures that the unit will measure is -27.4°F to 356 °F.</description>

		<description>Hey Chuck... I think you got the range incorrect.. The 32°F to 122°F is the Ambient Operating Range.. i.e. don't use it outside in the winter, or leave it in a really hot car in the summer.. But the range that it will measure is actually  -27.4°F to 356 °F  or -33°C to 180 °C. 
Not sure off the top of my head if that'll work for checking brake temps.. but it's certainly a much wider operating range.  This looks like a must have for the toolbox.. Good show Nate!</description>
