		<description>Is this product one of the first "births" from the Dewalt/PorterCable marraige?

These bases look identical to the PC 7310 series of laminate trimmers - not at all like the previous Dewalt versions.

Looks like the same motor with a new style cap to it.

If any of you guys are interested - these guys are selling plans for $20. It's all buildable out of plywood or MDF, or anything else you have around. Then there's minimal investment in some of the electronics for controlling the various axis, etc.
