I was somewhat disappointed in the show this year. Neither Makita or Bosch had a corporate booth, both relied on dealers to show their tools with mediocre displays. Rockler was also missing, and Lee Valley had massively scaled back their booth.

On the plus side, their were a lot more demos and seminars than in past years and every third booth wasn't selling a laser to bolt to a tool as in past years. This was also the busiest show I'd been to- we waited in line 30 minutes to buy tickets 20 minutes after it started. If I was going again I'd take Friday afternoon off work and buy my tickets online before leaving.

This is a great show! I've been for the past several years and am really looking forward to checking out some of the new tools in person. It's a great place to demo stuff that you can't find a local dealer for or might order online. Even if you don't do the shows, it's worth it for the booths.
