I like the Liftmaster 312HM, it hooks into just about any door opener and lets you operate it with Liftmaster remotes. Once you get started, you can hook these into family and work locations so that any Liftmaster remote with 1-4 buttons will operate several different doors at different locations. Our whole family uses them and loves them. The parts aren't available retail, so you'll either need to order over the Internet, or get the local garage guy to get you started. Most installers are willing to hook up an adapter and get you started, and then sell you more hardware. It's amazing how many people pay a few bucks to re-key all the exterior locks in their house to match, but don't know they can get the same ease of use from their garage door openers.
