					<description>It will gum them up, although a locksmith friend says that if the task at hand is to get the lock functioning at all, quickly, then WD-40 will work.

Graphite is good, but the problem is when there is oil in the lock already the graphite will just become a gluey mess.</description>

					<description>Can someone explain why it is bad in locks? Is that for both the old and new (less flammable) formula? Does it gum the locks up? Graphite is alright to use though right?</description>
