DeWalt Recalls 81,000 Cut Out Tools
By Chuck Cage
According to the Kansas City infoZine, DeWalt is recalling some 81,000 Model DW660 cut out tools due to the possibility that “the cord wire in these units could be damaged internally, posing a shock hazard to consumers.”
If you’ve got one of these, you should “stop using [it] immediately and contact DeWalt for the location of the nearest service center to receive a free inspection and repair, if necessary.” That number is (888) 263-9051 — only between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
