Reader Find: AeroKroil Rust-Penetrating Solvent
By Chuck Cage
Myself says: “This is my favorite rust-penetrating solvent to go along with that O2 sensor socket you just posted. HVAC guys swear by this stuff. Apply a few days in advance if you can, then give another squirt right before the job. It also smells great.”
Street pricing runs around $10/can.

Tell the gorillas down at the tire stop to kindly limit themselves to personal torque on my lugnuts, please.
The only reason we have “industrial” and “consumer” versions of products is that our country overproduces lawyers.
You’ve been around tools and chemicals your whole life, and you haven’t killed yourself yet. Read the MSDS and you’ll probably do just fine with the holy-dangerous-batman version too.
