I love the guitars! Congratulations on your EBAY auction. Before I saw your guitar on EBAY, I had already decided to build my own Guitar Hero guitar. I do play guitar, but I do not own a video game system. I was playing Guitar Hero(very badly) at a friend’s house when I got the idea to make a GH guitar into a real guitar.
I was able to find a brand new Washburn Lyon with a slightly warped fretboard at a second hand store for $25.00. Then I bought a RedOctane wireless guitar. I stripped out all of the guitars’ electronics and made a new pickguard out of black walnut masonite(I found it at a specialty woods store and it matched the fretboard nicely). I then milled out the inside of the real guitar for depth and milled out a little more to fit in the whammy bar mechanism. It actually only took me about ten hours of actual work, but it took about 100 hours of thinking to get it right. I skipped all of the wiring and just kept all of the GH’s electronics wired together. This makes it easier to swap out parts if need be.
You can see the guitar at http://photos.yahoo.com/mustugio11. Hope you like it.
If I may ask: How much did the Fund Razor get for the other two guitars?

It sounds like you’re creating problems yourself by trying to solve this issue instead of looking at why their is a problem in the first place.
