I have had mine since 2002 and it has received and handled much abuse. This year I finally changed out the impeller of the unit for $9.99. (probably didn't "have" to but the impeller is plastic and does wear). The new-er impeller is an improved design from the '02 one and the unit is better than new. The claims of 10 bags to 1 is true! The mulching is very good. My only complaint is that if the leaves are wet the unit has a hard time handling it and may clog frequently, so just wait for dry weekends and you will be very happy with this cheap effective unit!
