Finds: U-Joint Puller

By Sean O'Hara

Removing u-joints is an exercise in caution: The more you hammer to get the stubborn part off, the greater the chance you have at buying yourself a new joint – or in some cases, (shudder) a driveshaft.

A puller works much better. The Tiger PTO Combination Puller consists of two specialty u-joint pullers rolled into one.  Designed to dismantle anything from steering knuckles to farm machinery power take-off U-joints, this puller has a re-designed forcing bolt that allows both gloves to be interchanged.

A $99 price tag might not make it easy on the wallet but good if a large U-Joint puller is what you’re in the market for.
