I know this is an older post, but thought someone passing by might find this useful. Sears is now selling deep offset wrenches in their full polish line. They look as good as any brand I've seen.

Toolmonger, I really like this website and I'm glad I found it for I learned a lot in a short time. Speaking of wrenches if you haven't I would like for you to check out a wrench called a "Bionic Wrench" made by a company called Loggertools. These wrenches come in several sizes including an open-end style. Once you see this wrench and see what it does you might be tempted to throw all of your wrenches away and purchase a set of these. This wrench has won several prestigious awards including the most sought after award from Popular Mechanics who don't impress very easily. I stumbled across this tool by accident while surfing the web and in the future I plan on getting me a set of these wrenches including the open-ended one.

[...] When we mentioned offset wrenches a few days ago, we promised to find the specific ones we borrowed — and liked a lot — and report back to you. Well, we found them. (Or at least they were found for us. Thanks, Lorenzo!) [...]

Amen. I was changing a power steering fluid hose this weekend and would have killed for a set of these. Alternatively, a 24mm S wrench would have been great, but I can't find anyone who sells them in that size...
