Hello,

I have a 93 Yukon GT - 2 door Marroon in color.
I'm now searching for ways to make it a better looking truck.

anybody know of any places were I can get new Ideas on how to restore it.

I had put a new Jasper Engine put in it. But it really could use a faster engine is if I have no power when I need it.

Need Interior parts as well as exterior parts. I want to replace my Dash board but I can seem to find one New? where do the make them at for GMC ? Does anybody know the answer to that question Please let me know

[...] Nowadays I’d simply take one side at a time apart. But when we were doing the Project Yukon engine swap, we used a digital camera to snap literally hundreds of pictures as we disassembled things. During re-assembly a month or more later, it was awesome to be able to scroll through the pics on a cheap laptop in the shop to see detail not available in manuals.
Frank, the HT383-E will fit and run well as a stock replacement. For better peformance a chip upgrade is required. Check The Gilbert Auto Group discussion board for more info...a lot more smarter people than me there.

Just wondering how the project came out? I am still searching and researching. Interesting stories about this pursuit of a 383 but I can not say it here. Now you have some miles on the Yukon is it still running well?

I anxiously await your finished project. My 1993 Blazer is going to get the GMPP P# 17800393 HT 383-E as you mentioned in your article. To date, no dealer has any experience with this motor (many told me it does not exist!). If anyone in the Phoenix area wishes to take on this project with me please post here and I will get back to you. Thanks for this great information and good luck!

PS Also debating on the use of intake P# 12496821 (aluminum tbi) and some sort of upgraded throttle body???
