By Chuck Cage

tv2nite.jpg(Sunday, July 2, 2006) If you have yet to see Black Sky, the documentary about the winning of the X-Prize, you need to see it — and it’s on tonight at 6.  At 9, the Science Channel’s offering a couple of shows on fireworks and the history and science behind them.

Tonight:

  • Black Sky: Winning the X Prize (Science Channel, 6 p.m. CDT)
  • Classic Tractor Specials (RFDTV, 8 p.m. CDT)
  • Ultimate Guide: Fireworks (Science Channel, 9 p.m. CDT)
  • In a Fix: Creative Playroom (Discovery Home, 9 p.m. CDT)
  • American Chopper Military Salute: Jr/Sr Military Tribute Bikes 2 (Military Channel, 9 p.m. CDT)
  • Wild and Weird Rockets (Science Channel, 10 p.m. CDT)
  • F1 USGP (Speed, 11 p.m. CDT)
  • Practical Woodworker (RFDTV, 11 p.m. CDT)
  • American Chopper Military Salute: Jr/Sr Military Tribute Bikes 2 (Military Channel, midnight. CDT)
  • Trading Spaces: (TLC, midnight CDT)

Our insomniac’s recommendation: GO TO BED.  There’s nothing on.  Whether you’re working tomorrow or not, you’ve gotta get some sleep sometime this week, and tonight’s the best night for it.
